What We Offer

Mat & Reformer Pilates

At FORME Studio, we offer Mat Pilates and Reformer Pilates classes suitable for all abilities, from beginners through to experienced practitioners.

Our classes focus on Joseph Pilates’ original method, which was designed to build strength, improve mobility and support overall wellbeing through controlled, intentional movement.

Classical Mat Pilates

Our Mat Pilates classes focus on the original 34 exercises created by Joseph Pilates, primarily using bodyweight, performing the exercises on a mat to strengthen the core, improve posture and mobility, and develop stability throughout the body. We will also use props where required, such as handheld weights, a Pilates ball and a Pilates ring to adapt and progress the exercises.

Mat Pilates is suitable for all abilities and provides an excellent foundation for improving strength and your movement flow. While it isn’t necessary to start with Mat Pilates if you are new, it can be a great way to build confidence and develop the foundations before progressing to Reformer classes.

Reformer Pilates

Reformer Pilates is a more dynamic workout using specialised equipment designed to both support and challenge you.

The reformer adds controlled resistance to every movement, helping you build deep strength, improve balance, and increase flexibility in a way that feels both effective and low-impact.

Our instructors guide you through each class with care and attention, ensuring you feel confident, supported and in control throughout. We use props such as Pilates balls where appropriate, and tailor each exercise to your individual ability so you can move safely, feel stronger, and leave each session feeling energised.
